I am a biologist with more than 12 years of experience in plant ecology and sustainable agriculture. Since moving to the Mediterranean, I have dedicated my work to researching and cultivating neglected and underutilized species (NUS) to improve food security and adapt to climate change. My motivation lies in connecting traditional ecological knowledge with modern science to support local farmers and communities. I enjoy collaborating on international projects, mentoring young researchers, and publishing studies that highlight the potential of Mediterranean NUS.
