Reviewers Dashboard

The VENUS project consortium invites academics from all over the world to participate as external reviewers of the project deliverables. The required branches of expertise that we seek are the following:
- Hydrology, water quality, water resources management in agriculture
- Soil science, soil chemistry, soil physics, soil microbiology, soil resources management
- Horticulture, plant propagation, plant stress
- Climatology, Agrometeorology
- Life Cycle Assessment in agriculture
- Food quality assessment
- Extraction and quality assessment of high-value compounds from plants
- Production of biogas from agricultural wastes
- Business models in agriculture
- Socio-economic analysis of rural communities and landscapes
The role of the Reviewers’ Dashboard members is to act as external reviewers on specific deliverables, which are relevant to their expertise, providing comments that will improve the scientific quality of project outcomes. The reviewers will participate maximum at two deliverables’ reviews during the period 2024-2027.

If selected, your profile information will be published on the VENUS website in the Reviewers’ Dashboard, and the VENUS project will provide you with a certification.

Financial management, household finance, financial literacy, financial technology, behavioral economics and finance, business & labour economics and finance, entrepreneurship.
Experience
Prof. George Panos (44 years old, Male) is Professor of International Finance at the School of Economics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has held previous positions the Universities of Glasgow, Stirling and Essex. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Aberdeen (2010), an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick (2004) and a BA in Economics, with distinction, from the University of Ioannina (2002). He has held key administrative roles at all three universities at which he has worked, including the role of director of postgraduate programmes. He has worked as a consultant to the World Bank for a total of seven years, on finance and private sector development, entrepreneurship, and poverty alleviation. In April 2020, he was named as one of the top 40 MBA professors under 40 worldwide by the US-based Poets & Quants, which ranks graduate programs in Business Administration globally.
